Noticeboard

There is currently a three month wait for heart monitor results.

It is vital that you keep the surgery up to date with your current contact details as occasions can arise when we might need to contact you urgently. Increasingly we are using text to communicate reminders and other updates to parents/carers and we need your current mobile number to do this.

From the 1st February 2019, all sick note requests must be made by the patient themselves. A form can be completed at the surgery and will be placed through to the GP who will decide if they are able to issue this to you. It will take three days to process your request.

The High Street and Whitfield Surgeries have a Patient Participation Group, If you wish to join please contact Sarah Jarvis on 01304 206463, She  will be happy to help you.

All our patients now have an allocated GP, if you are unsure who your GP is please feel free to contact the practice. A member of our reception team will be happy to help you.

Welcome to The High Street Surgery and Whitfield Surgery

Patients First

Our main surgery is in the very centre of Dover. We have a branch surgery at Whitfield at which we can dispense for certain patients. We are fully computerised at both sites.

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Access & Parking

There are adjacent public car parks but no patients’ car park at Dover.  There is, however, limited parking for registered disabled patients and easy access for the disabled into the surgery, including a lift.

Our Whitfield Branch Surgery is a single story building with parking available.
